The Band

Tue Apr 1, 2008, 11:56 AM
Submitted art into my gallery for the first time - 1st April 2008 - The pictures are of the band members: which right now only consists of two: David Oscar plays guitar, his Rickenbacker 330 mainly. Elizabeth plays bass. The photographs were taken late one Saturday night and the art work was quickly done in paintshop. There is really no clever stuff here: just a good sense of fun.

The poses are a conglomeration of classic pop poses. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Smiths and the Velvet Underground were the main sources of inspiration.

I am quite chuffed with the results.

*AMENDMENT

The Band were called The Cherubs but there are an American band called The Cherubs which I discovered via Deviant Art. There is no new name as yet.

Seriously, people need to stop assuming that every pair of lead guys in a film are gay. Hasn't anyone heard of brotherly bond anymore? Theres always gay speculation of everything and everyone nowadays, its ridiculous.

In 1995, Jeremy Brett was going to be decorated with the Knighthood, or what is the same, it would do "Sir".
But in that same year, before they could giving died, and the thing that stayed in, in an anecdote.

This goes to all fans of Jeremy Brett and Sherlock Holmes. There is a movement on the Internet, which is collecting signatures to finally give him the honorary title even if it would be posthumous.

Here is the LINK: [link]

I do not know many people here, if you could be spreading the message to all who may know who are his admirers, would be more.
